C. 1900 HEUBACH Boy & Girl, LARGE 14, Fish & Lobsters, German Bisque Figurines
FABULOUS and LARGE set of German bisque figurines by Gebruder Heubach…. Depict a boy and girl with their “catch” of fish and lobster…. Only markings are the red circular “MADE IN GERMANY” stamps inside, however they are weak/rubbed from years of washing…. Excellent condition with no damage, breaks, or repairs to the bisque…. There is a shallow flake along the inside rim on the bottom of the girl, on the inside, that I suspect is a manufacturing flaw…. The original gold painted decoration is weak in areas from years of cleaning, as are the red “MADE IN GERMANY” marks inside….
