Beautiful Antique Victorian 9 Carat Yellow Gold Locket marked on the back 9ct Back & Front in a Shield Shape – this is a beautiful floral design in mat finish with some of the engraved flowers having a lovely polished finish to stand out – the detail on the flower design is gorgeous -a good sized locket, it comes with a loop to hang it and measures 28mm in length and weight 3.8 grams and comes in a vintage gift box (not original) from a long established Jeweller in Penanze in Cornwall which adds extra interest – the locket opens and closes well, has a couple of minor dings, inside the right hand photo holder has a backing card and plastic cover for the photo – the left hand holder does not – this would be easy to add – some light scuffs and marks – a truly lovely antique piece of jewellery to keep treasured photographs, a lovely item, for yourself or as a gift for someone very special – please check photographs which form part of the description an do help – don’t miss it!
