Antique Pocket Watch Chain 1890s Victorian Large 12ct Gold Filled Albert & T Bar
Victorian Gentleman’s absolutely magnificent and highly impressive, 12ct (tested) rose gold filled has a lovely soft pink hue and is what is known in the U. K as rolled gold, traditional graduated curb link, large Antique pocket watch chain / double Albert with well made original stamped matching dog clips and original stamped swivel T bar. (Very rare now days to find one complete and with all its original fittings – these have usually been re-made into Ladies bracelets). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to’Peaky Blinders’. Me asures; 31.5cm / 12 1/2 total length and weighs a heavy 29.7 grams. Chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 7mm width to centre and taper down each side to 4mm width) – all have a lovely’fluid’ feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Both of the central links are clearly stamped to one side with the makers initials; TH (Thomas Hopwood). Robust and well made original secure matching dog clip to each end which are again stamped (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche) with the makers initials; TH. Large original swivel T bar to the other end (measures 3.8cm length) which is also clearly stamped with the makers initials (with an oblong shaped recessed cartouche); TH. Also has a short length of oval link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end – so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent and outstanding bright clean condition with absolutely no wear or damage – looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays. A lovely Antique 1916 Fully Hallmarked Victorian 18ct 750 Yellow Gold Sapphire Gemstone Pinky Mens Ring. Ring Size Approximately L. Weight 2.55 grams. Fully Hallmarked inside the ring band. Marked crown symbol, then 18, then the Birmingham assay office symbol, then the letter R dating this ring for 1916. The maximum front width of the ring is 7mm. The minimum back width of the ring is 2.5mm. Please note the hallmark stamp has taken a very slight bit of the band away at the back as you can see in the pictures but does not affect the wearability of the ring. Beautiful Large Antique Victorian Gold Cameo Brooch. Very nicely carved and a good size too. Gold frame stamped 9ct to reverse, with maker’s mark RC. The pin is base metal, and I suspect the safety chain is too. There are some pawnbroker’s marks lightly scratched onto the side; these were very hard to photograph but please see picture 4. Some tarnish where the frane has been soldered together, one on the little bobbles is a little dented and another has a small hole, see picture 5. The cameo itself is in good condition, and is even signed on the back. Please see pictures for size and condition.
