C1840 Outstanding Large American Wide Lemon Gilded Victorian Antique Folk Frame

This is a beautiful mid 19th century American gilded ogee frame. Bright, original surface with great patina, on 2 3/4 wide molding with cut nail mitered corners and ochre painted sides. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor wear and measures 22 1/8 x 28 1/8 with a 17 7/8 x 23 7/8 rabbet (frame has been resized).
